Chanctonbury Healthcare Ltd is a local expert provider of private care homes for the elderly in East Sussex. It is a family-owned business.The Sinclair family have been in the care home business for over ten years, and they are from Sussex themselves.
We have three care homes:
The Queensmead Residential Care Home at Polegate, East Sussex which is a high standard purpose built residential care home, which is registered by CQC for 37 residents. It has the highest of reputations for care and service. Indeed the restaurant has been awarded the ‘Only the Best’ Award by Wealden Environmental Health, for 2007.
Oaklands Court Care Home with Nursing which is located in the Weald at Horam, East Sussex. It is registered by CQC for 44 residents. It has an enviable reputation for high quality nursing care and high-quality service. It is also a purpose-built home. In 2006 it was awarded ‘the Best Care Home’ by the Sussex and Surrey gazette.
Alfriston Court Luxury Care Home is located on the edge of the beautiful tourist village of Alfriston in the South Downs. It was the famous White Lodge Country House Hotel, and has been carefully converted into a luxurious residential care home for discerning elderly residents. All the rooms have been designed by the renowned Sussex interior designer and architect Cedric Ellis. It has 26 exquisite bedrooms and is set in nearly four acres of lawns and gardens. Alfriston Court not only provides luxurious surroundings but also provides the very best of care, which includes nursing when you need it.
