Oaklands Court is located in the beautiful Sussex Weald, with Ashdown Forest close-by. The village of Horam has a good number of shops and cafes.
Residents come from far and wide due to the outstanding reputation of Oaklands Court, for its high quality nursing, caring, service and quality of food. The building is modern, purpose-built for nursing yet typically Sussex, it is bright and airy with lovely patio gardens.
Oaklands Court is expert in the provision of nutrition and feeding of elderly and poorly residents, as well as providing interesting high quality meals for those that enjoy meals in the dining room. Oaklands Court is a nursing home and is very professional in the provision of nursing and caring services. The home manager is a highly qualified Matron, who is supported by well qualified and experienced RGN nurses and supporting them are experienced carers and service staff.
The 43 bedrooms are all well appointed and purpose-built for nursing with a television in each room along with lovely furniture and a modern bright en-suite with toilet and wash basin. There are two well furnished lounges, a dining room and a garden conservatory. There are lovely lawns and trees around, and of particular interest are the patio gardens.
Residents in Oaklands Court have varying degrees of interest. Some are highly dependent and some are very active. We ensure that whatever the fitness of our residents they have an interesting and rewarding lifestyle. Our Activities Co-ordinator provides plentiful interesting and fulfilling group and individual activities.
Visitors are welcome to visit at any time, and will always be provided with tea and biscuits.
